Subscription Terms
These Subscription Terms supplement our Terms of Service. They explain how paid subscriptions to MySteppi work, who charges you, how renewal works, how to cancel, and when refunds are available.
1. Overview
The MySteppi product (the "Service") is operated by EmodeFlow LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. We offer paid subscriptions on a monthly or annual billing cycle. The exact plans we offer, the features included in each, and the current prices are shown on our pricing page and inside the Service. Plans, features, and prices may change.
2. Who Charges You
- Web subscriptions are billed by EmodeFlow LLC through Stripe. EmodeFlow is the merchant of record.
- iOS subscriptions are billed by Apple Inc. through your Apple ID under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
- Android subscriptions are billed by Google LLC through Google Play under the Google Play Terms of Service.
3. Auto-Renewal
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period for another period of the same length, at the then-current price for that plan, until you cancel. We will email you a reminder before annual subscriptions renew, where the law requires us to.
On mobile, auto-renewal is managed by Apple or Google according to their policies, and you can turn it off at any time in your device's subscription settings.
4. Free Trials and Promotional Offers
- If we offer a free trial, you must cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
- Only one free trial per user, unless we say otherwise in the offer.
- Promotional pricing applies only during the promo period. After the promo period, your subscription renews at the standard price for that plan unless you cancel.
- We may end or change promotions at any time.
5. How to Cancel
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access to paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for. No partial refund is given for the unused remainder of the current period unless required by law.
5.1 Web (subscriptions purchased on our website)
- Sign in to your MySteppi account
- Go to account settings, then Subscription
- Select Cancel subscription
- You will receive an email confirmation
5.2 iOS (subscriptions purchased through the App Store)
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
- Tap your name at the top of the screen
- Tap Subscriptions
- Tap MySteppi and then Cancel Subscription
5.3 Android (subscriptions purchased through Google Play)
- Open the Google Play app
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions
- Select MySteppi and tap Cancel subscription
6. Refunds
- Web (EmodeFlow LLC via Stripe): we consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis. We will refund where required by applicable consumer-protection law. Email mysteppi@emodeflow.com with your account email and a short description of the issue.
- EU, UK, Israel, and other cooling-off jurisdictions: if you have a statutory right of withdrawal for digital services in your country, we honor it for the legally required period. By starting to use paid features before the withdrawal period ends, you may waive the right under your local law; we will explain this at checkout where required.
- iOS: refunds for App Store purchases are issued by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Android:refunds for Google Play purchases are issued by Google. Request a refund through Google Play's help center.
7. Price Changes
We may change prices for future billing periods. If we change the price of your subscription, we will give you advance notice by email and inside the Service. The new price applies to the renewal after the notice period. If you do not agree to the new price, you can cancel before that renewal; otherwise, continuing your subscription means you accept the new price.
8. Taxes
Prices may exclude applicable VAT, sales tax, or similar consumption taxes. The applicable tax will be added at checkout based on the billing address or device location, and is collected and remitted by EmodeFlow, Stripe, Apple, or Google as applicable.
9. Failed Payments
If a renewal payment fails, we (or Apple / Google for mobile purchases) may retry the payment for a short period in line with industry practice. If the payment continues to fail, paid features will be paused until the payment succeeds. Your account and saved data remain available; only paid features become unavailable.
10. Changes to These Subscription Terms
We may update these Subscription Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you in the Service or by email and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of a paid subscription after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Subscription Terms.
